Childs play

By Rhodri George
Childs play

Childs play was directed in 1950 the main character of the film was called Charles lee ray (chucky).

His signature weapon was a knife which he used to kill his enemies. His first appearance was in child's play and his last one was in the curse of chucky.

Chucky is basically about a doll that comes to life and wants to kill the kid who was his ex owner. At the end of every film he gets killed but always seems to come back to life ready for the next film. The way the film is created is very good i like the idea of the film because it is quite entertaining and very
jumpy.

The costume for the doll is really well done, before the doll turns evil it actually is dressed up really nice and looks like a normal doll for a child, and when it turns evil it starts to look different with scars on its face and looks evil in the face.

The hair and makeup isn't really standing out in the film, it is just a standard doll. Its teeth is good and stands out a lot and shows a lot about what the doll is actually about.

Chucky's body language is good in the film the way the doll stumbles about which makes it quite scary to watch. His expressions as well are really deep and makes you scared of the doll itself, for a childs doll it really has an effect when you watch the film.

For the props there is a few things for chucky which you can get different, such as his face it changes at different times as the movie goes on and on. At the start of the first film he will have nothing on his face but as the time goes on his face will begin to scar just as it looks in the picture. His clothes stay the same throughout the films and nothing really changes apart from when he gets injured his clothing tends to get damaged.
